A sensory-friendly dining experience for EVERY body
We are excited to present the Inclusion Dining at George & Martha's on Sunday, November 3rd!
The Inclusion Dining is a sensory-friendly dinner experience for people with and without special needs. This evening is designed to include and accommodate people with autism and other special needs, but is for EVERY body. All ages and abilities are welcome!
-Staggered seating times to prevent lines and crowding
-Gluten-free and other special diets accommodated
-Dimmed lights
-Music played at a lower volume
-Activities to support waiting
-Therapists and educators onsite for support
-Modified picture menus, and more!

Morris Speech Therapy saw it only fitting to make this month's therapist spotlight feature to be Kate Pawlikowski, MS, CCC-SLP for the instrumental role she has played in getting this event off the ground.
Kate is a licensed speech-language pathologist in the state of New Jersey who is board certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). She joined Morris Speech Therapy in 2017. Kate especially enjoys working with individuals on the Autism spectrum and she is our go-to therapist for all things AAC (Alternative Augmentative Communication). Kate is completing her Masters of Special Education with a concentration in Assistive Technology from Bowling Green State University.
